About Mathematical Society of Wayamba

The Department of Mathematical Sciences oversees The Mathematical Society of Wayamba, an academic organization. It plans the Mathematical Sciences Day as the main event with the goal of increasing undergraduates’ involvement in extracurricular activities. Opportunities exist for them to demonstrate their innate talents. A talk is given by a specialist in the field of mathematics or statistics, and quiz competitions are also held to test the knowledge of undergraduates and schoolchildren in the areas of mathematics and statistics. Additionally, math camps and workshops for students are organized with the goal of helping the community.
